Christmas in Cornaiano

'Christmas in Cornaiano' is the name of the event when the centre of the village of Cornaiano is decorated for Christmas with art objects made of staves, the planks of the wine barrels. About 35 of these creations can be seen here. They are festively illuminated in the evening and attract particularly art lovers and gourmets who enjoy this special event with a glass of exquisite Cornaiano wine.

Together with the Christmas market in San Michele, the 'Nativity Scenes at the Cathedral in San Paolo' and 'Christmas in Cornaiano' the event becomes 'EppanAdvent' (AppianoAdvent), since 2019 a green event that focuses on sustainability in both its organisation and implementation and opens its doors on the first weekend of Advent.

All this is rounded off by 'Das große Los' in Appiano and Caldaro, the oldest and largest Christmas campaign in South Tyrol. Every year from the end of November to the beginning of January, the wine village of Appiano invites you to enjoy Christmas cribs, lights, art and pleasure.
