Christmas in Caldaro

Small wooden stalls stand on the central market square of Caldaro, Christmas music is played and lights illuminate the wine village. In Advent, the atmospheric Christmas market invites visitors to take a stroll. A large fir tree decorated with stars and lights stands in the middle of the market square, and burning candles form a shining circle on the village fountain.

Horses and ponies await little visitors for a short ride, while a horse-drawn carriage ride is on the programme for families.
The one or other highlight must not be missed either, for example the exhibition of Krampus Masks in the rooms of the former Le Carceri Prison in Caldaro, today a gallery.
