Public holidays in South Tyrol

Useful information for your holidays on the Wine Road: on public holidays, many shops and offices stay closed

Religious holidays such as the Assumption of Mary (August 15) or Christmas (December 25), as well as national holidays such as Italy's liberation from Fascism (April 25) and the commemoration day of the foundation of the Italian Republic in 1946 (June 2) are also celebrated along the South Tyrolean Wine Road, often with festivals, concerts or processions.
