Local clubs and traditional groups ensure that in the small municipality of Trodena in the Monte Corno Nature Park, just a few kilometres off the South Tyrolean Wine Road, is filled with pre-Christmas atmosphere on two days in Advent.
The small, atmospheric Advent market in the alleys and cellars of the mountain village invites you to take a leisurely stroll. Alpine traditions and customs, a children's zoo, handmade items, old crafts, Grandpa's Christmas workshop, concerts in the parish church and much more await young and old alike on these two days. In addition, on the evening of December 5, Krampusse parade through the village, and on December 6, St. Nicholas comes to the village square and gives out little goodies to the children.
Of course, culinary delicacies and hot drinks are also a must at any Christmas market. The smell of cloves and Christmas biscuits fills the air, candles glow and, with a bit of luck, Mother Hulda shakes out her bed.
