Starting at the Gasthof Wieser tavern we walk downhill through the forest to the road to Gaid (path no. 8). After about 2 km on the little-used road we reach the Moarhof inn in Gaid (approx. 1 hour walking time from the Wieser tavern). From Gaid we follow the path no. 8-R and 8 steadily uphill and downhill through the Höllental valley until the Jägerwirt tavern in Sirmiano di Sopra (1 hour). From there we walk past the Messnerwirt tavern and the St. Apollonia church into the wood (to the left) and continue on a wide, beautiful forest path until the St. Jakob Church in Grissiano (45 minutes). A visit to the church is a must! From St. Jakob we take the not-asphalted road down to the Hotel Grissianer Hof and follow there the signpost "W" downhill through the forest to Prissiano.

Right at the end of the path in the village, at the brook, there is a beautiful Kneipp facility where our tired feet wake up again. Walking time from St. Jakob: 1.5 hours. At the bus stop in Prissiano we turn right and immediately left again. We walk through orchards and pass the school and nursing home in Tesimo (20 minutes). We cross the village on the footpath until a path branches off approx. 300 m outside the village towards the Gruberkeller inn. We pass this tavern on the right and continue downhill along a beautiful road to the parish church of Lana di Sotto (path no. 5).

Walking time from Tesimo: 1 hour and 15 minutes. In Lana di Sotto you should not miss a visit to the famous Schnatterpeck Altar. After the visit we have to walk back a bit and then past the Fruit Growing Museum - also worth a visit - uphill to the Waalrast tavern. Here the Brandis Waalweg path starts which proceeds with beautiful views and past interesting modern artworks completely flat to Lana di Sopra. Before the village we walk down onto the road and the footpath takes us to the village centre. The bus stop is located above the Falschauer river.
