When the period of the apple blossom starts and the first festivals are announced, then the Wine Road is characterised once again by live music, South Tyrolean delicacies, the best local wines and pure joie de vivre. Every component locality and hamlet features its own fire brigade, and their festivals are among the most popular and populated during the summer months. Also the local music bands and associations organise their own festivals and village fairs to raise funds for their non-profit activities during the year. And last but not least there are some important dates to be celebrated such as Pentecost in Terlano.

The event calender of the Wine Road includes also the “Strudel Festival” in Andriano and the “Altmauerfest” in Ora, the “Hay Festival” in Cauria and the “San Paolo Village Fair” as well as the wine events which are famous all over. Every celebration is characterised by live music, treats for the palate and exquisite wines, usually accompanied by a family-friendly entertainment programme. In autumn, however, the party continues with events such as the “Törggele Festival” in Caldaro or the “Sant’Antonio Autumn Festival” - until winter knocks at the door…
