Carnival customs

Many Carnival customs and an active hustle characterise the month of February between Salorno and Terlano on the Wine Road

When the crazy period is celebrated along the Wine Road, things are getting lively: “Waschweiber” (washing women) and “Wuddelen” populate the streets of Termeno, whereas the jester Perkeo holds the sceptre in the hand and starts his crazy reign in Salorno. Also the other villages have much to offer and invite families, friends and disguised people to their Carnival parades.
