"L'ert per l'ert"
Author Rut Bernardi repeatedly pushes the boundaries of understanding because she writes in her native language, Ladin. This led her to develop wordplay and the musical interpretation of the ‘Ladin sound.’ Ladin is a Romance language whose vowels are particularly well suited to wordplay. This sound attracts the audience's attention – but it is much more than just a gimmick: the poems are intended as critical statements and are therefore also made available to the audience in translation.
The name of the distinctive ensemble Eseleptitun – which originated in a confused dream – already suggests that musically, an idiosyncratic and multifaceted world of sound is about to be entered.
