Description

On Saturday, February 28, starting at 11:00 a.m., the OPEN DAY 2026 will take place at the historic headquarters of the Conservatorio Monteverdi. On this special occasion, admission will be free for the public through the 14th-century Dominican Cloister.

The trumpet fanfare and percussion ensemble will open the event from the entrance at Piazzale Domenicani. This will be followed by non-stop concerts until 9:30 p.m.: chamber instrumental and vocal groups, pianists, the wind orchestra, and the Conservatory’s opera singers will entertain attendees with an exceptionally rich and varied program.

To further enhance the event — aimed both at lovers of classical art music and at those approaching it for the first time — demonstration lessons and opportunities to try musical instruments will also be offered.
