Description
In this new event dedicated to acoustic music and curated by the Supermarket collective, the Waag Aquarium welcomes Mirkoeilcane, the stage name of Mirko Mancini.
A guitarist, singer, and songwriter, Mirkoeilcane received significant recognition for his debut album released in 2016, which also earned him a nomination for the prestigious Premio Tenco.
In 2018, he took part in the Sanremo Music Festival in the Newcomers category, where he placed second and won both the Mia Martini Critics’ Prize and the Sergio Bardotti Award for Best Lyrics.
In 2023, he released his third album, “La musica contemporanea mi butta giù” ("Contemporary Music Gets Me Down"), where he continues to explore autobiographical themes and subtle reflections on society with his signature style.
