The South Tyrolean Chestnut Trail or “Keschtnweg” - as it is known locally - connects the 60 km long sunny slopes between Bolzano and Bressanone in the Valle Isarco valley. It is a part of the Camino de Santiago. We explore one of the four stages of this trail and start at Castel Roncolo near the town of Bolzano.
