WaltherPark Bolzano

In autumn 2025, the time had finally come: the redevelopment of the central area around the train station in Bolzano was successfully completed with the opening of the WaltherPark. The large, modern shopping centre celebrated its grand opening in mid-October.

Now Bolzano, with its traditional Arcades, long-established shops and branches of large chains, also has a shopping centre in the heart of the town.

On three floors, WaltherPark is home to about 80 shops of all kinds. On the top floor, you can find a gym and the Salewa Cube climbing hall, the Mercato Centrale is also on the same floor. More than 20 culinary areas offer everything from sweet delicacies to hearty steaks and pasta creations to creative aperitifs for a break while shopping.

The outdoor area also shines in new splendour. The Viale Stazione has been rebuilt, closed to traffic and converted into a pedestrian zone connecting Piazza Walther with the new WaltherPark and the railway station. The adjacent Parco della Stazione has also been redesigned and now offers climbing facilities for children, wooden benches for resting and illuminated water features in the new fountain as Parco Berloffa. The Bolzano city bus stop is located directly in front of the WaltherPark, and the intercity bus stop is just a stone's throw away.

These measures have enhanced the entire area and made it possible to enjoy a relaxed shopping experience by public transport. If you still want to come by car, there are two underground car parks nearby: the new WaltherPark car park and the one under the Piazza Walther. Have fun exploring the new shopping adventure!
