Agriculture

Above all fruit and wine growing are particularly important along the Wine Road and also characterises the landscape: apples, grapes and other fruit varieties thrive particularly well in the mild climate.

Agriculture is of great importance along the South Tyrolean Wine Road. And it can be experienced in the changing seasons, from the white sea of apple blossoms in spring to the lushly green meadows in summer and to the fruit and grape harvest in autumn. In late autumn, however, the harvest is celebrated in the best way - the traditional “Törggelen” invites to taste the new wine.
