Fruit growing and viticulture are particularly important along the Wine Road and characterise the landscape: apples, grapes, cherries and other types of fruit thrive perfectly in the mild climate
Agriculture is of great importance along the South Tyrolean Wine Road. And it can be experienced in the changing seasons, from the white sea of apple blossoms in spring to the lushly green meadows in summer and the fruit and grape harvest in autumn.
In late autumn, however, the harvest is celebrated in the best way - the traditional 'Törggelen' invites to taste the new wine.
