Comedy and drama in one evening: two short operas by two great 19th century composers! Radames by Peter Eötvös is a satirically absurd caricature of contemporary theatre. An opera singer rehearses Aida for Verdi's tragic love story. But due to drastic cost-cutting measures in the cultural sector, Radames stands alone on stage and has to sing both the role of Aida and that of Radames. The result is catastrophic....
