International Museum Day

The International Museum Day 2025 will take place in South Tyrol on Sunday, 18 May 2025. In our village museum in Tramin you can expect an exhibition of Roman burial finds as well as a video about the excavations from Tramin which were found in 2020 in the location ‘Im Bad’ in Tramin.
The museum is open from 10 am - 6 pm. Free admission and a special programme.

The event is organised worldwide by ICOM - International Council of Museums - to raise awareness of the social and cultural role of museums among the general public.

As part of the International Museum Day event, several museums and exhibition venues in South Tyrol will be offering free admission and a special programme.
