The HUMAN STORIES section of the Bolzano Animated Movie Days Bozen 2026 presents a selection of animated films that approach the great challenges of contemporary society with sensitivity and creativity. From cultural diversity to human rights, from the environment to coexistence, each story invites audiences to see the world through new eyes. Colours, shapes and animated narratives become powerful tools for depicting complex realities, encouraging dialogue and raising awareness.

Some productions are screened in their original language with English subtitles.

A highlight of the section: "The Eating of an Orange", selected for the prestigious Annecy award and winner at the Sundance Festival 2025.
