Playgrounds

There are plenty of opportunities to let off steam in the great outdoors at playgrounds in the various villages along the South Tyrolean Wine Road. Here are a few suggestions.

Those who would like to combine swimming fun with some nice moments on a playground or a relaxing stroll round the woods, should head to the Small Lake Monticolo. Another playground locates in Appiano at the heart of S. Michele.

Caldaro boasts even three nice grounds beneath shadowy trees near to the Castelvecchio sports area, with loads of slides, swings and all your children can wish for. There is also a high ropes course for adventurous activities. The cycle path of Caldaro is also a true adventure paradise for kids: Along the conveniently even path they will find several wooden houses, sandboxes and much more.

Termeno features a special event called “the junior host”. From Mid-July 'til late August a particular children-tailored program is scheduled, with fun and entertainment and qualified educators.
