Tradition: the “Ratschen” at Easter
Info
Description
The “Ratschen” is a tradition practiced in Catholic regions during Holy Week. The wooden rattle is used to replace the ringing of church bells and to remind people of prayer times and church services.
For several years now, the Schützenkompanie Andrian has been reviving this long-forgotten old tradition.
