From January 22 to 24 and from January 29 to 31, our theater presents two captivating performances for children and families, both starting at 5:00 PM. Two events dedicated to puppet theater and foot theater, bringing to the stage stories full of imagination, emotion, and poetry, performed by highly sensitive artists.

From January 22 to 24, “A Broom for Witch Hilda” by and with Stefanie Hattenkofer (Figurentheater Hattenkofer) will be performed.
Little Witch Hilda can fly very well, but she only has a toy broom, which is far too small and fragile. After a wild accident, Hilda finds herself alone in the forest and decides to set out to find a real witch’s broom. Along her journey, she meets strange and surprising creatures and bravely confronts even those who scare everyone else. Thanks to her courage and big heart, Hilda is able to protect her new friends and fulfill her wish, ultimately finding a magnificent pink, sparkling broom.

From January 29 to 31, it will be the turn of “Rumpelstiltskin”, performed by Anne Klinge using the captivating foot theater technique.
Miller Benedikt boasts to the king about his daughter Hanna’s extraordinary abilities, claiming that everything she looks at turns to gold. The king takes these words literally, and Hanna finds herself in desperate trouble. A mysterious little man appears to help her, asking not for gold or her first child, but for Hanna’s most cherished memories. The result is a poetic and dreamlike fairy tale about the value of memory and the importance of experiences, which are more precious than any wealth.
