Carnival at Runkelstein Castle – fun for the whole family!

On Friday, February 13, 2026, we will present our new children’s audio guide at Runkelstein Castle – and celebrate Carnival with a special family offer:

• Free admission for families who download the audio guide and explore the castle together
• Children are welcome (and encouraged!) to come in costume
• Exciting tour with a quiz, including access to the new permanent exhibition, where the whole family can experience the Middle Ages in a playful and interactive way
• A small gift at the end of the visit
• Carnival doughnuts in our castle tavern

Please note: Confetti and foam are not permitted inside the castle.
