Description

Ditch Day 2025 at Sudwerk Bolzano (Bozen): A meeting point for young pop and indie acts from South Tyrol.

With Ditch Day, a new, vibrant format is establishing itself in South Tyrol, offering young musicians not only a stage but also a platform for exchange, networking, and visibility. What began in the spring of this year is increasingly developing into a meeting point for the local pop scene.

Three acts, three sound worlds

The Fever Week: Formed in 2024 between Bolzano and Innsbruck, the trio combines 80s synth-pop with indie-rock and modern pop aesthetics. Their songs, such as 'High School Love' or 'Red Flag Boulevard', feature anthemic choruses, powerful drums, and catchy melodies. The band members are not new to the scene: Simon Feichter, Gregor Moser, and Simon Klingseis have previously played in projects like Cemetery Drive and Farbarena, and are now pooling their experiences in this new formation. Their music is reminiscent of acts such as The 1975 or The Band Camino.

Timbreroots: Indie-folk with depth and atmosphere – Timbreroots combine acoustic instruments, rich vocals, and poetic lyrics to create a unique sound. With their debut album Numen’s Dream (2023) and the current successor Heartbeat Chronicles (2025), they have secured a firm place in the scene. Songs like 'My Own Bubble' and 'Colorful Timbres' have tens of thousands of streams. The South Tyrolean band, fronted by Benedikt Sanoll, impresses with five-part vocals, live marimba, and an impressive stage presence – which earned them, among other achievements, first place in the Sonx Contest and an appearance at the renowned Rudolstadt Festival in Germany.

Since11: Musicians Claus Stecher and Philipp Trojer boast over 1,000 live performances – once an acoustic duo, they are now a full indie band with their own songs, new sounds, and fresh ambitions. Their style is casual, danceable, and full of sunny retro vibes – a mix of indie-pop, funk, and rock that evokes road trips and long summer nights. Following airplay successes in Italy and Switzerland with 'Oh Lara', 'I Don’t Wanna Be Like You', and the EP 'Kinky Universe, Random Trouble', 2025 will see new releases and their first major festival shows.
Aftershow with Manu Mischkonsum: A well-known figure in South Tyrolean nightlife, Manu Mischkonsum brings his musical experience and distinctive style back to the Ditch Day stage. Last time, he transformed the Sudwerk into a true nightlife hotspot – and this time, his eclectic grooves, indie-electronica, and disco vibes will once again make the club vibrate until the early hours. An aftershow with addictive potential.
