The Natural HIstory Museum South Tyrol is a collecting point for natural history objects and is located in Bolzano.

This Nature Museum is the only of its kind and for this reason it is of course located in Bolzano, strictly speaking in the historic part of Bolzano in the north east of the historic district. As a public institution it is easily accessible on foot as well as with means of public transport.
The core themes in the permanent collection are earth science, botany, zoology as well as research. The exhibition pieces illustrate and provide information about various European regions and the beautiful and characteristic world of mountains and valleys in South Tyrol.

The museum has been inaugurated in 1997 and the exhibition also comprises aquariums and terrariums, so to speak living animals. Several times a year there are also special exhibitions.
