Caldaro Wine Days

At the beginning of September the wineries of Caldaro offer their wines for tasting.

And again the cooperative wein.kaltern organises an event that deals with fermented juice.
The Caldaro cooperative, the “free winegrowers” of Caldaro and other wineries offer their best wines in two evenings at the beginning of September. Of course these are wines of the new vintage.
A large number of little houses with ruby-coloured roofs are located on the town square. Most of them offer noble wines in gallant glasses. In one of these, farmwomans bake local delicacies and offer snacks that perfectly go with a glass of wine.

All in all it is amazing how many wine growers there are in Caldaro and how many excellent products they make.
