Climbing

There are obviously plenty of climbing opportunities along the South Tyrolean Wine Route!

A climbing wall is provided for instance in Monticolo. Further indoor climbing opportunities are found in Bolzano, Appiano (S. Michele) and Termeno. Even in San Genesio Atesino near to the city of Bolzano you will find a climbing wall.

A so-called Via Ferrata connects Termeno with the 2,116 metre high Roen Mountain.

A special kind of experience however is promised when climbing up the Via Ferrata on the Favogna Mountain. It starts in Magrè and takes you up the Favogna Mountain as you might have imagined :-) We guarantee: It is definitely worth all efforts since a stunning area is waiting for you up there!
