Bolzano Fair

The fair of Bolzano is a meeting place in terms of professional competence in the alpine area and also worldwide.

The fairground Bolzano is located in the city area of southern Bolzano, has been established in 1998 and features an exhibition space of some 45,000 sqm, 30,000 of which are roofed and 15,000 in cleared area.
Collectively fiera Bolzano includes an area of 5 hectares and offers any mechnaism and felexibility for fairs, congresses and leisure time event.

The organising committee has got a 60 years' experience in this business, which makes the interesting fair programme of the Bolzano Fair possible.

Nearly every area of studies of the alpine economy there are specific fairs. Bolzano fair represents the central meeting point for companies of the alpine area. Moreover its position is perfect for an encounter of German and Italian expertise. Valuable contacts can be made in this country of two languages.

The origin of fairs in South Tyrol dates back to about 800 years ago. This was, more than ever, the time when fairs were seen as general events and have often been characterised by religious rituals.

Nowadays the fairs are mainly dedicated to further education, the future-oriented progress of economy and industry and the personal interexchange of trained personnel among themselves as well as technical stuff and potential customers.
