The ultimate wine events on the Wine Road

The number of events which focus on wine increase from year to year. It seems that there are numerous bright minds which are keen on realizing their brilliant ideas. Some of these events and ideas are described in detail in this section.
The Day of Wine in Appiano for example takes place in March, before the Wine Fairs get started. On this day the residence Lanserhaus in Appiano attracts a great number of experts and gourmets of wine. All wineries of Appiano present their new vintages and other noble types of wine.

Also the Lorenzi night in Bolzano, taking place on August, 10 must get a mention in this section. In this night - needless to say - various wines are tasted. In historical ambience, however, wines are much more hearty and tasty!

Soon after this event the Wine Festival in Caldaro makes your heart leap for joy. On August, 15, when this festival takes place, on the grounds of the winery “Erste & Neue Kellerei” in Caldaro, you can enjoy a wide variety of culinary highlights, including drinks, delicious meals, live bands and celebrating people.
The next edition of this event takes place from August 11 to 14, 2010.

There is a wide choice of wines - you just have to choose, no matter if you prefer the white wines like Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, or red wines like Lagrein, Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon…
You are spoilt for choice! The variety is huge, just as the pleasure of drinking a glass of wine is.
