The Sant’Osvaldo Promenade is named after Oswald von Wolkenstein, a famous minnesinger who lived during the Middle Ages. The Promenade, built at the beginning of the 20th Century, winds its way above Monte Tondo mountain and leads to St. Magdalena, home of the famous wine. Those lucky enough to wander along the historic Promenade are rewarded with beautiful views of Bolzano’s valley basin
