The Traminer Wineday provides the best entertainment with a wide range of activities, and a hike is also on the programme. The hike, which follows the tracks of the Gewürztraminer, which made the name of the village famous worldwide, takes place between the end of May and the beginning of June. The Gewürztraminerweg trail leads from the old centre of Bethlehem through the Mediterranean landscape of the Termeno vineyards to Ronchi. This special excursion is intended for all those who are interested in nature, viticulture and the wine road: you will receive tips on planting the vines and learn interesting facts about the daily work of the winegrowers.

Along the way, the wineries and distilleries of Termeno invite you to stop at unique places and taste the Gewürztraminer, a low-acid white wine with notes of rose, lychee, kumquat, bitter orange and marzipan. During a bacon tasting, you can taste the culinary combination of the traditional South Tyrolean Speck and Gewürztraminer.

The Hoamet Tramin Museum also opens its doors on this special day: it houses a large exhibition of Gewürztraminers from all over the world.
