Gewürztraminer Festival

Every year in July, Termeno (Tramin) dedicates an entire evening to its world-famous product: the Gewürztraminer, a white wine with numerous international awards, which has been grown here since the 11th century. The village centre is transformed into a fairground. The Termeno wineries as well as invited guest wineries from the Valle Isarco valley, the main town of Bolzano, the Oltradige and the South Tyrolean Bassa Atesina and from the neighbouring Trentino up to the upper end of Lake Garda offer their Gewürztraminer wines for tasting.

This is accompanied by seasonal dishes and live music, selected red wines and South Tyrolean Grappa from the surrounding distilleries. The pleasant atmosphere is also enjoyed by the "Vinobarden", as the Termeno wine philosophers are called. By the way: in order to be able to celebrate this special summer evening in Termeno as carefree as possible, there is a free shuttle service from Caldaro, S. Giuseppe al Lago and Cortaccia to Termeno from 7.30 pm.
