For more than 20 years, the Kaltern Lake Concerts have been counted among the big highlight events and are now famed far beyond the provincial borders. The concerts continue to feature national and international stars promising an unforgettable experience: NENA, Umberto Tozzi, Status Quo, but also James Blunt, Ronan Keating, Alvarò Soler, as well the Haydn Orchestra of Bozen and Trento, the Herbert Pixner Project, and many more. For three weeks in July and August, the northern shore of Lake Kaltern will be transformed into a magnificent concert venue this year, too.
This year, too, visitors can look forward to a special concert highlight when NEK performs on South Tyrol's only lakeside stage in Kaltern at the lake.
As a singer and multi-instrumentalist with over 10 million records sold worldwide and 18 studio albums to his name, Nek – the stage name of Filippo Neviani – is considered one of the most captivating and beloved male voices in the Italian music scene. Following his debut in 1992 with the album “Nek”, a long series of successes has unfolded over more than 30 years of career. Unforgettable songs such as “Almeno stavolta”, “Lascia che io sia”, “Laura non c’è”, “Fatti avanti amore”, “Se io non avessi te”, “Unici”, “Sei grande”, “Se una regola c’è”, the cover of “Se telefonando”, as well as “E da qui”, “Sei solo tu”, “Uno di questi giorni”, “Ci sei tu” and many more have confirmed his lasting presence on the music scene. In 2022, the celebratory album “5030” was released, reflecting his thirty-year career and his fiftieth year of life. At the Kalterer Seespiele, his greatest hits are brought to the stage, along with a selection of the audience’s most beloved songs.
