The South Tyrolean Wine Museum is located in a typical wine village on the Wine Road.

> The unique South Tyrolean Wine Museum is situated in the centre of Caldaro. By means of old agricultural and vinicultural equipment as well as glass and wooden barrels, interesting information about the development of the wine growing sector are provided. Outside in the garden, different cultivation methods for vines, some of which are not used any longer today, are presented by means of an educational trail. By the way, in the wine cellars there are some excellent old types of wine, which can be tasted on demand. Moreover guided tours are organised on a ragular basis.

Sundays and holidays: 10 am - 12 am

Special exhibition :
Vine knife in culture and winegrowing
March to November
In the course of time the vine knife has evolved from an implement to a peasant symbol. This special exhibition presents a selection of decorated vine knifes.
