Wine culture weeks in S. Paolo/Appiano

One of the highlights on the South Tyrolean Wine Road are the Wine Culture Weeks of San Paolo, event in which the focus is set on the red grape juice.

S. Paolo/Appiano:

This year the wine culture weeks of S. Paolo take place from July 23 to August 4, 2009. And again on this occasion people meet up in the centre of the village, have a glass of good wine and enjoy one of the delicacies that are offered.

The Wine Culture Weeks of San Paolo are a traditional event, which is every year animated with a creative programme by the organizing committee.
Lectures, speeches, talks and discussions and sometimes also theatre performances bring the wine closer to the guests.

Highlight of the festival is of course the so called “Gastliche Tafel”, an event in the streets of San Paolo. In this event, a 130 m long board will be established along the road, which is also lushly decorated and the celebrity chef Herbert Hintner and his team will offer special delicacies for prominent and interested guests. This event takes place on July 28, 2009. Please note, if you would like to take part, please book in advance!

The Wine Culture Weeks represent a mixture of tradition and innovation and gives the wine economy the possibility to improve further.
