Roen
The Roen (2,116 m slm) is the highest peak of the Mendola mountain ridge and the Val di Non Alps.
The Roen is located above Termeno, but makes part of the province of Trento. A hike to this mountain takes you at most three hours and can be reached on a relatively easy hiking trail. Even if you walk all along the Mendola mountain ridge, the ultimate view can only be enjoyed at the summit. The view ranges from the Dolomites to the Brenta and the Ortles mountain ranges. In winter you can reach the Roen in a snowshoe-tour.
The Roen can also be a destination for an adventuresome family hike, as there are several mountain huts that are open and ideal for a stop, both for adults and kids.
