The vegetation in the surroundings of the little Penegal is alpine, some larch trees grow on the meadows. The view is astonishingly beautiful in all directions and conveys the feeling of freedon. The Oltradige, the Bassa Atesina and Bolzano extend at your feet when you are standing on the top of the mountain. Latemar, Sciliar and other mountains rise in the east. In the south west you can, however, admire the Brenta Dolomites, in the west there is the Ortles mountain range.
From the little Penegal you can also reach the summit of the big brother, which offers a kiosk and a likewise great view.
