Paterkopf

The Paterkopf mountain is located above Caldaro on the road to the Rif. Oltradige and the Roen alpine pasture.

The summit of the Paterkopf can be combined with a walk to the Roen or the Rif. Oltradige. A challenging tour starts from Castelvecchio up to the Mendola mountain ridge, whereas a rather cosy tour is the one that starts at the Passo Mendola and takes to the top of the Paternkopf on a less challenging trail. Also the Paterkopf provides a great view. It boasts a cross at its summit and is located opposite the Dolomites. An astonishingly beautiful panorama.
