Lavinaspitz

The viewpoint called Lavinaspitz is located between the Passo della Mendola and the Roen.

Walking from the Passo della Mendola to the Rif. Mezzavia, short after you reach the Lavinaspitz, offering a great view on the Oltradige and the wide valley. The Lavinaspitz is also called Monte Lira and it summits at 1.611 m asl. If wind and weather conditions permit, paragliders use this summit as starting point. Landing ground, however, is the end of Lake Caldaro.

If you love fast and extensive walking, you can also ascend the Lavinaspitz in a tour of half a day.
