Corno di Tres

The Corno di Trens (1,817 m asl) is located above Favogna, a component locality of Cortaccia.

The Corno di Tres marks the border between South Tyrol and Trentino. The southernmost point of the Mendola mountain range can be best reached from Favogna or one of the localities above Cortaccia and is mainly visited by inhabitants of the Trentino. The view from this great place is characterised by a very special place, a place that you hardly ever come across. From this place you can see more of the Val di Non in the Trentino than from the South Tyrolean Bassa Atesina.

The Corno di Tres can best be reached from Corona, located above Cortaccia. People say that already the approach of the little mountain village is really worth it.
