Bergner Kreuz

The so-called Bergner Kreuz (1,847 m asl) is another summit close to the Monte Macaion mountain.

The Bergener Kreuz is one of the viewpoints between the Penegal and the Monte Macaion, which is, however, only hardly visited. Skilled mountaineers climb this mountain directly from Appiano/Predonico, others walk along the Monte Macaion in order to reach this summit. Nevertheless the summit offers a view that is really amazing. At the top, there is also a table and benches, ideal for having an open air picnic.

Our tip: a walk to the Bergner Kreuz for watching a sunrise, a great experience!
