Lakes and waters

There are several lakes or waters along the South Tyrolean Wine Route.

The South Tyrolean Wine Route is located in the south of South Tyrol, which means that days in summer months are getting hot, making you seek refreshments. If you cannot escape on the surrounding mountains, the localities of Appiano, Caldaro, Favogna di Sotto or Magré offer the possibility to get refreshment at the shores or even in the waters of their lakes. Also in the surroundings of the Wine Route, e.g. at the Lake Göller in Aldino, you can enjoy a jump into the cool waters.

Also winter has its own charm and the above mentioned lakes can sometimes also be the basis for a funny ice skating afternoon. Make sure that the ice cover is thick enough before you try ice skating in the great outdoors. In this section we report on the waters between Nalles and Salorno.
