On the cycle path to Ora
Starting point and arrival is the Kreuzweg inn in Appiano. At the Kreuzweg inn you keep left and cycle down the Lavasontal valley. 0.5 km after a wood you reach a roadside calvary with a fountain where you turn left and continue along the eastern shore of Lake Caldaro.
After a military zone (signpost “Gmund”) you turn right and always keep straight. Cycle past the railway station of Egna and continue on the second path crossing your way. It takes you to the western side of the valley on your right.
Now continue towards Magrč, across the hamlet and then left to Cortina all’Adige. 0.5 km after Cortina you turn left and cross the new biker bridge. Now cycle along the eastern bank of the Adige river towards Ora. After the railway station of Ora you continue cycling towards Laimburg, across a small saddle called Kreithsattel to Lake Caldaro. From here, the same way you cycled on in the beginning takes you back to Appiano.
