Christmas crib museum in the convent

The Christmas crib collection of the convent Muri is located at Gries/Bolzano in a Romanesque tower of the former Gries Castle, which today is integrated into the convent of Black Monks.

This is where visitors find a little selection of old and new crib figurines as well as passion scenes or Christmas scenes. One of the illustrations dates back to the 18th century. Exhibition pieces come above all from South Tyrol and also forty figurines of the popular arts can be admired in the permanent exhibition.
