Stachelburg Castle

Stachelburg Castle is inhabited and hosts a cellar in which you can enjoy various treats for your palate.

Castel Stachelburg dates back to the early Renaissance. This residence was meant to be a picturesque residence, which is underlined by the playful construction elements such as perron with loggia, bays, wooden ceilings and some beautiful paintings.

In ancient times the part of the castle that is oriented towards the road has been additionally surrounded by a crennelled wall. Originally a stone of the Roman Age was placed at the entrance of the courtyard, which is now hosted by the City museum of Bolzano.
The Stachelburg Castle is inhabited and run by the Dalla Corte family.
