Wine culture weeks in San Paolo
A cultural and tasty event takes place in the historic village of San Paolo.
Culture, interesting information and pleasure are at the centre of attention in a yearly event taking place in San Paolo/Appiano. In awhile the wine culture weeks have no more been only focused on wine, but of course the red and white grapes are still of utmost importance.
The wine promenade for instance makes wine conoisseurs’ hearts leap for joy. Concerts, technical lectures, thematic evenings, vernissages and sommelier courses as well as further events enrich the wine culture weeks and attract the attention of the large number of visitors.
The ultimate highlight, however, is represented by an evening in which a huge dining board is established in the centre of San Paolo. Herbert Hintner, South Tyrolean starred chef de cuisine, treats his guests’ palate under the open sky, along the main road in the village. As this evening is a rather popular one, we recommend you to book in advance.
The wine culture weeks of San Paolo take place at the end of July or the beginning of August and lasts 12 days.
