The last South Tyrolean village on the border with Trentino locates on 224 metres above sea level. As numerous other hamlets along the South Tyrolean Wine Route, Salorno is surrounded by rich green orchards, vineyards, woods and meadows.
When walking across the idyllic village you will see beautiful buildings, some of which dating back to the Renaissance, others to the baroque era.
Pochi and Caprile are two hamlets belonging to Salorno and definitely worth a visit. A stunning view of Val d'Adige and the Brenta Dolomites is waiting for you!
By the way: Salorno is ideally-suited to embark on relaxing bike tours :-)
