The Sant’Osvaldo promenade is located in the quarter Sant’Antonio and Santa Maddalena and takes you to numerous viewpoints.
This paths has been established in 1908 and extended to Santa Maddalena. This path is lined by a mixed forest of downy oaks, fern-lead beeches and bushes from meridional realms. Two towers of porphyry conglomerate, similar to a pyramid, soar from the forest. These are called “Wilde Mander” and are typical for the Sant’Osvaldo promenade.
As you might imagine, its name derives from the minnesinger Oswald von Wolkenstein.
