The Guncina promenade ranges from the quarter of Gries towards San Genesio and is dedicated to archduke Heinrich von Habsburg V.
Particularly in the 19th century Greis was very popular as health resort with aristocrats and gentry families. The promenades as well as numerous beautiful buildings date back to these times.
Still today the Guncina promenade is one of the most important and beautiful greens in the city and is warmly recommendable as a pleasant walk.
